Rachel Boston brings her charm and personality to the new comedy I Hate Kids, and spoke to Hidden Remote about why the hilarious film stands out.
Boston plays Sydney, who’s all set to marry the man of her dreams, played by Tom Everett Scott (I’m Sorry, That Thing You Do). But there’s a catch: Sydney doesn’t want kids, and her fiancé Nick has just discovered he has a son.
While Nick goes on a road trip with his new child and a psychic to find out more about the family he didn’t know he had, Sydney has to decide if she’s still willing to marry him and inevitably gets pulled into this surprise adventure.

After starting her first job at a country club restaurant, Callie – an aspiring chef – reconnects with her childhood friend David, whose wealthy family is a member of the club. When David enters Callie into the club’s annual Christmas ice sculpting competition without her knowledge, she’s forced to go head-to-head with her boss, Chef Gloria. Even though ice sculpting is cold work, sparks are ignited between Callie and David as they prepare for the competition as a team. Callie’s passions for cooking and ice sculpting are met with romance and Christmas spirit as she works to create the perfect sculpture.
I’ve added screencaptures and artwork from Rachel’s movie It’s A Disaster to the gallery. I love so many of Rachel’s facial expressions during this film.

However, on the night of his wedding rehearsal dinner, 13-year old Mason (Julian Feder) shows up claiming to be his son. How does the kid know this? Because self-proclaimed psychic the Amazing Fabular (Burgess) says so. The trio set out on a journey to find Mason’s mom and, in doing so, learn about Nick’s past.
